Company mission

At Single Step Publishing, we aim to deliver powerful concepts in bite-size portions. We believe that success is simply doing our best to reach our God-given potential. But thinking about our personal life’s potential can be overwhelming at times. Where do we start? In the saturated world of self development, there are many life changing books and resources. However, when we read 10 ideas at once, how much do we actually apply? We ambitiously pack our heads full of information that rarely gets used.
So we decided to simplify the message. 1 powerful concept per story, with points backed by data, not opinion. Hence our motto:
Keeping self-development simple

About the book

Smiling. A small thing that can make a BIG difference. After finding out he and his wife are pregnant, Andy has trouble accepting life’s challenges. Follow him through his journey to realizing that true happiness stems from within. That attitude isn’t everything, it’s the only thing.

Andy’s life seems like it’s spiraling out of control. After losing his job due to company downsizing at the start of the pandemic, Andy can’t seem to catch a break. Fearful over losing his house and not being able to pay the bills, Andy goes in search of work to help him build the life he wants for himself and his new family. What he finds instead is that life doesn’t always give us what we want, but it always gives us what we need. Join Andy on his quest to happiness through the simple act of smiling. Because seemingly complex problems tend to have surprisingly simple solutions, and external issues often require internal work.

Sustainability

At Single Step Publishing, our goal isn’t just motivation, it’s harmony, between ourselves and our planet. That is why we have pledged to plant one tree for every book purchased. So take pride in knowing that your decision to improve your own life also improves life for Mother Earth, because creating win/win scenarios like this should be as easy as smiling.
